The PIN-UP SHOW at SFAC
August 3 - 14, 2010
RECEPTION: Aug. 14 -5:30 to 8:30 PM
Now is the time to get all those unframed or unmatted
artworks out for the public to purchase!
Take this opportunity to show your unframed work that can be pinned
or hung on the gallery walls, lay flat on a table or stored in a
bin. Pieces may be encased in plastic envelopes so pins do not mar
painting edges.
Geclee’s and large matted work will be displayed in bins.
Bring your sculptures. Lay heavier items such as sculpture and matted
or framed pieces on tables. Artist must provide their own table.

OPEN: to all artists.
ARTWORK for walls must be pinnable, unframed and unmatted, in all
media, on paper or canvas. Artists must agree to either a 30%/70%
for members and 50%/50% for non-members, split with the Center or
choose to donate 100% of their sales.
Let Margaret (704.8611) know if you have a display rack we can borrow
for duration of the show.
FEE: $20.00 for a 4’ wall space. Artist provides own table.
DELIVER: Artists hand-deliver and pin up your work (yes, pin it
to the wall yourself) on Monday, August 2nd between 10:00 and 12:00
pm.
BRING an inventory sheet with your name, address and telephone number
on the top and with a list of each piece of artwork and the selling
price. Use nonstick price tags on the front of the work. Price tags
must have your initials and price of the piece. Put your name on
the back of each piece.
You will have approximately a 4’ wide space of wall to use.
You must supply your own table if needed.
UNSOLD ARTWORK: Pick up at 8:30 pm after the 2nd Saturday reception
or on Sunday, August 15 from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
SIGN-UPS: A wall space plan is available at SFAC. Sign up and reserve
your space now and pick up invitations to send to your friends and
customers. Space is limited to 25 artists.
PROCEEDS benefit the outreach programs of the non-profit Sacramento
Fine Arts Center.
