Barbara Damon

Upon raising her family and retiring, Barbara had more time to devote to drawing and painting. She has attended classes and workshops with Helen George, Gary Pruner, Susan Sarback and Anita Wolff.
As many artists do, she began with still life paintings. It was’t until she attended classes with Susan Sarback and Anita Wolff that she enjoyed landscapes.
Barbara is a member of Sacramento Fine Arts Center, Northern California Arts and Natomas Artists. She has shown her work at Sacramento Fine Arts Center, Sacramento City Hall Gallery, the Benvenuti Center and on the KVIE Art Auction. Natomas Artists show at Maestro’s Coffe Shop in North Natomas. She was featured artist in the July issue of the Natomas Magazine.
Barbara has a love of color that she expresses in her work. She applies her oils with both brushes and palette knife and sometimes combines the two. With each new painting she strives for work uniquely her own.
