307 Cruise Way
I am best known for my creations of scenes, flowers and creatures from my native state, California. Growing up in rural California, I developed a creative and sensitive feeling of the outdoors, wild flowers, mountains, waterways and all wild creatures, that I try to present in my works.
My art studies continued through high school, college and with well-known artists
( Theresa Bright Dunlavey, LaVere Hutchings, Marilyn Simandelle, James Godwin Scott, L. Marie Russell, Anita Wolff, Dave Huddleston, Jan Miskulin and Ted Goerschner). In recent years I have studied Chinese Brush Painting with Lily Chan. My Chinese painting study, brings an oriental influence to my collages on hand made papers, watercolor inks and scenes of California.
I have painted throughout the United States., Canada, Caribbean, Mexico and France. My paintings are represented in private and corporate collections, including the California Department of Aging’s permanent collection. I have exhibited and been represented at the Blooming Art Gallery, Turner Library, The New Art Works Gallery, KVIE Auction, The Nature Conservancy, Sacramento Fine Arts Center Gallery and Procida Florist Gallery. I am a Charter member of the “KRITIKOS” Artists.
