Painting and creating come naturally to Beverly and the visual language of nature is the inspiration for her palette. Her watercolor paintings are most often described as soft and subtle with an abstract clarity. Her luminous paintings have a rich descriptive style with an impressionistic flair. Field's favorite subjects are: landscapes and reflections in water, thus the title "Reflections in Watercolor." She also derives much of her subject matter from vintage cottages and buildings "reflecting" the past.
As a member of the Society of Western Artists and California Watercolor Society, she lectures/demonstrates, teaches and jurors’ art shows. Her work is among the permanent collection of businesses, libraries and banks as well as private collections throughout the United States, Canada, England and Europe. She was one of 17 artists to have her work exhibited in the Governor's Council room in the California State Capitol. www.reflectionsinwatercolor.com www.reflectionsinwatercolor.com
